SOFAR SOUNDS


SOFAR SOUNDS


SOFAR is a global music community. It stands for Songs From a Room and it was started by some friends in London who wanted to enjoy live music in a more intimate environment. SOFAR connects musicians and event spaces, (like ours) for magical evenings of live music.

We LOVE Sofar. We host 2-3 of them a month.

We're a monthly reading series based in Crown Heights. We host emerging and established writers and hope to bring together readers whose work resonates with one another's. 

Past events have featured original work by editors of a literary magazine, a choose-your-own-adventure nonfiction performance, and readings by poets, fiction writers, and essayists.
